The Journal of Chemical Biology & Pharmaceutical Chemistry is an open access and International, Peer reviewed Journal that aims to disseminate knowledge and promote discussion on all topics related to Pharmaceutical Chemistry and also deals with Chemistry, Biology. The open access journal is published by Imedpub International who hosts around 350 open access peer-reviewed journals as well as organizes more than 100 International scientific Conferences.

Chemistry is the scientific discipline involved with elements and compounds composed of atoms, molecules and ions: their composition, structure, properties, behaviour and the changes they undergo during a reaction with other substances. A molecule is the smallest indivisible portion of a pure chemical substance that has its unique set of chemical properties, that is, its potential to undergo a certain set of chemical reactions with other substances.

Medicinal chemistry and Pharmaceutical chemistry are disciplines at the intersection of chemistry, especially synthetic organic chemistry, and pharmacology and various other biological specialties, where they are involved with design, chemical synthesis and development for market of pharmaceutical agents, or bio-active molecules (drugs), in particular, medicinal chemistry in its most common practice—focusing on small organic molecules—encompasses synthetic organic chemistry and aspects of natural products and computational chemistry in close combination with chemical biology, enzymology and structural biology, together aiming at the discovery and development of new therapeutic agents. Practically speaking, it involves chemical aspects of identification, and then systematic, thorough synthetic alteration of new chemical entities to make them suitable for therapeutic use.

Pharmacology is the branch of pharmaceutical sciences which is concerned with the study of drug or medication action, where a drug can be broadly defined as any man-made, natural, or endogenous (from within the body) molecule which exerts a biochemical or physiological effect on the cell, tissue, organ, or organism (sometimes the word pharmacon is used as a term to encompass these endogenous and exogenous bioactive species).

Realizing the importance of this field, Imedpub Group has organized a prestigious conference on 33rd World Congress on pharmacology which was held from August 26-27, 2020 Barcelona, Spain which mainly focuses on the importance to understand drugs and how they can affect human physiology. It is with better understanding of Pharmacology one can know the right dosage and dosage forms of drugs. More research in pharmacology deals with identifying and responding to drug interactions and its side effects along with its mechanism of action, its therapeutic index and thereby treat accordingly. Authors may submit the manuscript in the related Topics which are related to Medicinal Chemistry and Pharmacology to the mail: chembiol@peerjournal.org or Online.
