JOP. Journal of the Pancreas, established in the year an acquired Journal by Insight Medical Publishing Group has been a pioneer in publishing valuable and relevant researches in Pancreatology since past 20 years.

The Journal scope encompasses structure & functional studies of etiology, epidemiology, prevention, genetics, pathophisiology, diagnosis, surgical and medical management of pancreatic diseases including cancer, inflammatory diseases, diabetes mellitus, clinical pancreatology, internal medicine, clinical research, gastrointestinal surgery, endocrinology, hepatology, management of acute pancreatitis, diabetes, pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma and its treatments, chronic pancreatitis, neuroendocrine tumor, cystic fibrosis and other congenital disorders.

Dr. Ashraf Mustafa Rasheed is an NHS Lead Consultant at the Royal Gwent Hospital in Newport, South Wales. He also holds the University Appointment - Professor of Surgical Sciences. His specialist expertise covers laparoscopic, oesophago-gastric, biliary, pancreatitis, splenic, and hernia surgery (Hiatal, Ventral, Incisional, Inguinal and Femoral).

Dr. Muhammad Wasif Saif an internationally renowned expert and Key Opinion Leader (KOL) in the fields of Gastrointestinal (GI) cancers, Experimental Therapeutics and Pharmacogenetics, an exemplary clinician, and a great teacher/mentor. He is Deputy Physician-in-Chief and Director of Medical Oncology at the Northwell Health Cancer Institute, as well as Professor of Medical Oncology in the Donald and Barbara Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra/Northwell. He has distinguished himself as an eminent scholar by publishing over 570 scientific papers in addition to textbook chapters and abstracts/proceedings of meetings, an extremely unique trait of him, which he considered his hobby.

The Complete Editorial Board consist of many other eminent editors who had served the journal wisely and their contributions are really valuable, for accomplishing various steps involved in publication of articles. Some of whose contributions really marks Journal’s success Abbas Agaimy, Alessandro Zerbi, Amir Houshang Mohammad Alizadeh, Claudio Bassi, Jose Manuel Ramia-Angel, Guntars Pupelis, etc. and also contribution of members Scientific Committee of the “Department of Medical and Surgical Sciences (DIMEC)” Alma Mater - University Of Bologna, (Italy) are appreciated.
